new brakesystems for minimotos
 

Hi there in bella Italia :)
New from Germany;).....maybe there are some of you interessted in a very good working & quite cheap brakesystem!
Right now we have a spezial Minimoto System with a 6 Piston Calliper & Standard Brakepumpe.......as an option you can get the extrem Radial Brakepumpe for extrem brakeperformance!:smt124
.....as well we have a 8 Piston Calliper which will be tested during the next weeks & a very small & light 4 Piston Calliper for the rear which is in testingprocedure as well!

Hope that some day a Factory like GRC,Dm etc maybe sell our Systems as an Option?

the system seems to be very nice and surely interesting!
But please tell us more 'bout it!
for example... the price.. your opinions about braking power, modulability and response..
has it it's own pump ? if yes...show us!

okay.......... first i tried the Formula brakesystem........but that wasn´t really what i was lookin for!......so i contacted Gatorbrake Europe & asked them if those 6 Piston Calliper would work?......cos they hadn´t any experience with minimotos they asked my if i would like to do the testing & develloping!.....first i got the 6 Piston Calliper with the standard brakepumpe!

That Brake was from my point of view much better than the Formula Brakesystem.......great performance,very good response and allways good to handle!The 6 Piston Brakepads are double as big than the Formula Brakepads!
But after a while you think you need more power(harharhar-TimTaylor).....so i mounted the big Radial Brakepumpe which is normaly used for the 8 Piston Calliper!

In that kombination the Brakesystem with the big brakepumpe & the 6 Piston Calliper works perfekt in and under any condition!
Right now big boys need more power:smt121 thats why I just got the new CNC made Gatorbrake 8 Piston Calliper

i see you use a grc front disc (or if isnt...it looks like it is!) like mine.. and the brake pads seems to use it all the way... (i saw that the brake pads are big!!) :smt124

by the way.........i just built my brakecalliperholders (STAFFA PINZA ANTERIORE) on my own.......but as fare as i know the stuff from Top-racing fit as well......so you just need to buy one & you have a complett brakesystem incl. everything!(Ready to mount)

by the way........gatorbrake uses only two big brakepads.......nd not like grimeca with there 6 piston calliper with 6 single brakepads!!

Where is the advantage to have 6 pistons or more and not have the opportunity to share of the braking force on every single piston?

Do they work on Blata B1 in plug'n'play?

Blata iss quite difficult because blata iss using a66mm wide frontrim & 160mm rotor!......at the moment we just have one Blata with that 6 Piston Kit......we hope we´ll get the Mountingbrackets soon to offer you blata guys a plug&play Kit! ;)

get new mounting brackets for Blata B1 next week...than i hope i´ll get a B1 to mount the 6 Piston System .......after that & if everythig working fine i´ll produce more of hose brackets!

got the mountingbracket.......but no B1 to take a try if everything fits right :(

I'm too far from you... otherwise I'll sacrify ;) my B1 for trials...

i know gatorbrake from 1 year and i have tried them, they are very particular finished (like magnetic brake pad) and very good pump!

fine...right now we just develloped a special 6 Pistoncalliper for minimoto !

it could be ;)

and then the best braking system for minimoto is composed of 6 piston caliper and increased radial pump?
